River and San Lorenzo played a tpiycal Copa Libertadores tie. Dramatic stuff, bone-crushing tackles and disputes between players. With a lot of players having played at some point of their careers for the other team (Abreu and Tuzzio used to play for San Lorenzo, while D'Alessandro and Placente -along with manager Ramf3n Dedaz- were at River), it was a very intense affair. I think River settled for the draw and forgot to attack during the entire second half. They were better in the first half and they could have gone for that crucial 2nd away goal that would have killed San Lorenzo in this first leg. They paid the price and now they need to win. They only need a 1-0 to qualify but still they need that win and it's not going to be easy. As for Boca they looked to be on their way to win 3 or 4-0 but Palermo hit the post and Alvaro Gonzalez was just horrendous in the rebound -in front of an almost empty net-. Cruzeiro got lucky and they scored the away goal on a deflection. Now a 1-0 at the Mineire3o will see them through. But you know what? Today it was all about FLAMENGO!!! hahaha! 4-2 AWAY at the Azteca! Now America (whose manager resigned after the match) will have to win by a 3-goal difference at the Maracane3!
