Gilardino stays with Milan

Alberto Gilardino has extended his contract at AC Milan, tying him to the San Siro club until the summer of 2011.The 24-year-old striker, who was a member of Italy's World Cup-winning squad last summer, joined the Rossoneri from Parma in July 2005 in a deal thought to be worth around 25million euros (£17.2m).
